Growth Creates Creative Demand

Your church is thriving: new campuses, new ministries, new initiatives. But your creative capacity hasn't kept pace. Your designer is drowning in requests. Your volunteer team is burning out. The queue keeps getting longer.

Kids ministry needs a new series. Youth wants fresh social content. The giving campaign needs materials yesterday. Your website is still using graphics from months ago. And your next campaign launch needs a complete brand package.

Every week brings new creative demands: announcement slides for Sunday, social posts for outreach, updated signage for your lobby, promotional materials for the upcoming conference.

The requests pile up faster than anyone can handle them. Your staff designer is working overtime but can't keep up with three ministries simultaneously. Your volunteer team has the heart but not the time or tools. You're stuck choosing between delaying launches or settling for rushed, inconsistent work.

You need more creative bandwidth, but the traditional options don't fit your reality.
Hiring Another Designer
Depending on your area, you'd need to invest at least $65,000 to $95,000 in salary plus benefits, equipment, software and onboarding time. Not to mention, if you'll have enough work year-round to justify a full-time position.
Freelance Project Costs
Every project requires new quotes and scope negotiations (what's included? hourly rates?). Costs add up fast and unpredictably, leading to projects going over budget and missed deadlines.
Pushing Current Team
They're already maxed out. Asking for more means slower turnarounds, lower quality, or burnout. None of those are sustainable.

"A senior-level designer... for a fraction of a full-time hire"

As Free Chapel grew to six campuses, plus Jentezen Franklin Ministries, annual conferences, children's, youth ministries and frequent seasonal campaigns, we needed to expand our creative capacity. In Caleb, we found a senior-level designer who understood our pace and culture, for a fraction of a full-time hire.

Questions You Might Have

Clear, simple answers to help you decide if Good News Pixels is right for your church.

Plant ($2,997/mo) is ideal for smaller churches or those just beginning to invest in consistent design. You can submit an unlimited queue of requests, and I work on one project at a time with up to a one-week turnaround. This plan is best for sermon series graphics, social posts, and ongoing ministry materials when you have time to plan ahead.

Growth ($4,997/mo) is our most popular tier for churches that are growing and producing weekly content. You can submit an unlimited queue, and I work through each project one at a time with a three-day turnaround. This plan is a strong fit for churches with steady weekly needs and occasional campaigns.

Harvest ($7,997/mo) is designed for multi-site churches, high-growth ministries, or churches navigating heavy campaign seasons. You can submit an unlimited queue of requests, and I work on each project one at a time with a 48-hour turnaround. This tier also includes same-day rush service for up to four projects each month. It is built for ministries that need a creative partner who can keep pace with multiple campuses, frequent launches, and/or overlapping campaigns.

All plans include unlimited church graphic design requests, unlimited revisions, unlimited size variations, and the freedom to pause or cancel anytime. Choose the plan that matches how fast you need work delivered and how many projects you manage at once.

Everything visual your church needs! This includes sermon graphics, ministry branding, giving campaigns, social media content, event promotions, announcement slides, bulletins, signage, print materials, and more. If it’s a design your church needs created, it’s included :)

Size variations are simply different dimensions or formats of the same design. For example, if you request a sermon series graphic, you might also need an Instagram post (1080x1080), an Instagram story (1080x1920), a Facebook post (1200x630), a presentation slide (1920x1080), or a print poster (18x24 inches).

Specify the formats and dimensions required for your ministry, and I will include each one within the completed project. This is especially helpful for social media content, event promotions, and campaigns that need to work across multiple platforms. Unlimited size variations means you can request as many formats as you need for each design.

Most size variations are delivered within 24 hours for all three plans: Plant, Growth, and Harvest.

Perfect! Good News Pixels integrates smoothly with existing designers and creative teams. I support overflow work when your team is at capacity, take on special projects so they can stay focused on core responsibilities, and provide flexible creative support that scales as your ministry grows. The goal is to give your team the breathing room they need while keeping all projects moving forward with excellence.

I can supplement a staff designer or volunteer team during growth seasons, campus launches, or busy campaign periods.

That works too! I can serve as your complete creative department and handle everything from sermon graphics to social media graphics, giving campaigns, seasonal branding and more!

Many churches don't have the budget or consistent workload for a full-time designer, but still need professional-level creative work. That's exactly what this subscription model solves.

That's completely normal—ministry ebbs and flows. That's why you can pause your subscription anytime. If you know summer is slow, pause for those months. You'll only pay for the time you actually need me, and there's no penalty for pausing.

Yes! I work bilingually in English and Spanish. Whether you need fully bilingual designs, Spanish-only materials, or separate versions for different services, I can create designs that communicate effectively in both languages. Many multi-ethnic churches use this capability to serve their entire congregation well.

All communication happens asynchronously on your private Trello board. You submit requests as cards, attach any reference materials or brand assets, and outline the details in the description. I update the card as I work, share drafts for review, and you leave feedback directly on the same thread.

This gives you the ability to review and reply on your schedule without needing to coordinate meeting times. It also allows more of the workday to be spent designing rather than meeting, which keeps progress steady and turnaround times consistent.

The entire workflow stays organized in one place—no email chains, no scattered files, and no confusion about which version is current.

Most projects, including the ones that initially feel complex, can be handled cleanly through Trello. Clear written direction and visual references usually provide everything needed to move forward with confidence.

Because communication happens asynchronously, more of the workday is spent designing. This keeps progress steady and turnarounds consistent without the delays caused by scheduling meetings.

If something feels unclear, your team can use this quick internal clarity checklist before submitting a request:

  1. What is the primary goal of this design?

  2. Who is the audience?

  3. What tone or emotion should it communicate?

  4. Are there examples we love or want to avoid?

  5. What sizes or formats will we need?

This helps create a unified direction and ensures the project moves forward smoothly.

Turnaround speed depends on the plan you choose:

  • Plant: First drafts within one week

  • Growth: First drafts within three days

  • Harvest: First drafts within 48 hours, plus same-day delivery for up to four rush projects per month

Revisions are usually completed within 24 hours for all plans.

I work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend availability. For same-day requests on the Harvest plan, please submit by 10 AM. Requests received later in the day will be delivered as soon as possible on the next business day.

If your ministry has a large backlog or is preparing for a major campaign—such as a seasonal series, conference, or large event—the Harvest plan provides the priority turnaround needed to keep everything on track. The same-day option averages about one rush project per week, which is helpful when sermon direction shifts late in the week or messaging needs to be adjusted urgently.

If your church is growing but does not require frequent rush work, the Growth plan provides consistent three-day turnarounds at a more accessible price point.

If the first draft needs changes, we’ll continue refining it until it feels right for your church :)

Every plan includes unlimited revisions, and the process is designed to help us land exactly where you need to be. After many years of serving ministries, I’m usually very close on the first or second draft, but I’m always happy to adjust until you’re truly satisfied.

You can explore samples of my work throughout this site to get a sense of my range. I am highly adaptable, and your church is not limited to a single style. If you share inspiration examples, brand guidelines, or specific references your team prefers, I can match that direction closely. The goal is to support your unique voice and message.

Your Trello board keeps the revision process simple and organized. You can comment directly on each draft, attach reference images if available, and outline any adjustments you would like to see. I then update the design and upload the next version for review. This avoids email chains and version confusion and ensures a clear, efficient workflow.

Absolutely. I've been serving churches and ministries for nearly 20 years, this isn't a side gig, it's my calling. I understand the balance you're trying to strike: accessible yet excellent, contemporary but timeless, creative but also not distracting. I get that every dollar and every Sunday matter.

But it goes deeper than professional experience. I grew up in church and have served in various capacities throughout the years. From sunday school teacher, youth leader, audio engineer, musician to band director, and of course, creative director and designer. I've been on both sides: the volunteer scrambling to get slides done Saturday night, and the professional helping churches communicate with excellence.

You won't have to explain the world of ministry to me. I speak the language, understand the rhythms, and genuinely care about helping churches communicate the gospel clearly and compellingly. When you reference "contemporary service vs. traditional," "multi-generational appeal," or "theologically sound but culturally relevant," I already know exactly what you mean.

Absolutely. No long-term contracts, no commitments. If you need to pause, just let me know. When you're ready to start back up, everything picks up right where we left off. And if you need to cancel altogether, you can do that too—no hard feelings, no penalties. Learn more about our terms of service.

I structure my workload intentionally so every church receives consistent, reliable support. Each tier has a limited number of openings, which prevents overload and allows me to maintain quality for every ministry I serve.

Working with one designer means your church receives personal attention and a consistent creative voice. There’s no need to re-explain preferences or onboard rotating designers—everything stays aligned because I handle every project myself.

Your Trello board gives you full visibility into what I’m working on and what’s next, so you’re never left guessing or wondering where a project stands.

Limited Spots isn’t a marketing tactic. It’s how I ensure dependable service and protect quality for every partnering church.

Hi, I'm Caleb!

I grew up in metro Atlanta, serving in church ministry however I could, from Sunday school teacher, to leading youth groups, playing keys, running audio. Wherever there was a gap, I filled it.

Nearly 20 years ago, I found my lane: design. What started with church flyers evolved into branding, creative direction, and web development. My skills were sharpened working with Fortune 500 brands, but my heart never left the Church.

Along the way, I noticed a recurring issue, ministries underfund and understaff creative work. Strong design is essential for reaching local communities, yet most churches simply don't have the capacity to keep up. I built Good News Pixels for growing churches that have outgrown their existing creative capacity, bringing unlimited church graphic design to ministries that need it most.

When you work with Good News Pixels, you work directly with me, no handoffs, no junior designers, no virtual assistant. Just consistent quality from someone who understands the rhythms of church life. I built Good News Pixels for growing churches that have outgrown their existing creative capacity, bringing unlimited church graphic design to ministries that need it most.

¡También hablo Español!

If your church serves Spanish-speaking communities, I create designs that work seamlessly in both languages.

I'm based in North Georgia, serving clients globally.

The Pursuit of Excellence

My Good News Pixels Guiding Philosophy

In passing, this phrase is easy to dismiss. Another box to check. Another standard to meet. But this fundamental misunderstanding misses the mark entirely...

Excellence is a horizon, and there's an ocean of inspiration that separates us from it. To reach it, we must dive in. In a time when most refuse to leave the shallows, we dive anyway. The exhaustion and vulnerability aren't obstacles to the pursuit, but the journey itself.

Yet, the truth remains: neither you nor I will ever reach that horizon. This reality shouldn't break our spirit, for in this relentless swim, something remarkable happens. Work emerges that not only inspires, but points beyond itself.

Talent and technique can be practiced, honed, refined, perhaps even mastered. But excellence? Excellence slips beneath the surface the moment we think we've grasped it.

And still we strive for that which we once believed would never be within our reach.

We reach because excellence calls out the best in us. Our sharpest ideas. Our most daring work. Our deepest reservoir of creative energy. And the moment we deliver—standing back to dare call it finished—we've redrawn the line in the sand. What was exceptional is now expected. The horizon has shifted because we moved toward it.

This tension is the common thread of the creative life. We are never done. We are never satisfied. Not because we are broken, but because we were made to reach for more than we can hold.

Settle for the mediocre, even once, and excellence is no longer an option. Our work no longer impacts. No longer inspires. No longer demands attention. It drifts into the shallows. Forgettable. Safe.

But every new project is an invitation to dream again. To dive deeper. To swim out further than we ever thought humanly possible.

This is the pursuit: not arrival, but the endless journey, and the work we produce along the way.

This headfirst plunge is not for the hesitant. It demands we swim against the current of the expected. But this is the only way to create the work that truly lives.

Will you watch from the shores of the ordinary, or dive into the depths of excellence?
